Green and white rules

Today I had my run around midday. When I got to Coxs Bay, a game of football was being played between two schoolgirl teams on the pitch closest to the bay. As I noticed them the team in Celtic colours took a corner, and it was turned neatly into the goal.

Right, thought I, With the restart they'll be down this end soon. Ahhh, no. The other team was quickly dispossessed of the ball, and another attack ensued, and a goal was scored. This photo was set up as the teams coming towards me, and taken just after the green and whites headed goalward.

In the time it took me to go around the field to the bay, get a photo of the sun on the water (Mr H liked that one; see my blipfolio), they had scored another goal, and earned another corner. A very one sided game by the evidence I saw in the brief time I was there.
