Breakfast...only just

The weather and conditions were perfect for catching herring early today at Cottesloe Beach.

That was......if you were there before sunrise and had your line in the water well before 0700 hrs.

This keen angler had caught enough for breakfast for he and his wife but was bemoaning the fact that he slept in a bit and missed the early part of the mornnig when the herring were really running.

Still he was perfectly content and said he will be back again next Friday and Saturday...gets him out of the house and domestic chores he was not too proud to admit.
