Damp but defiant!

Well the weather man got it wrong. Today was supposed to be mainly dry! Guess what? IT'S RAINING AGAIN!!!!! How unusual :-(

With it being as wet all the time as it seems to be at the moment, getting any decent shots is proving difficult. Did manage to get this starling. He looks decidedly damp, bless him.

I saw the first House Martin flying here today! Hope that one pair is going to nest in the same place as last year as I may be able to get a shot of them in & out as they are feeding.

I did spend quite a while trying to get a shot of the sparrow going into his nest in the porch of the house over the road, but with this camera it's not easy. It takes too long to focus & shoot. I want my Nikon back - still waiting for part from Japan!! Grrr!!!!
