Bits of Life Thru A Lens

Going Wild!

We went to Lion Country Safari today. It's pretty cool - you drive through and many of the animals come right up to your car. You really aren't supposed to have your windows down, but the tint on mine made it a necessity. I got yelled at several times during the lion section, which is ridiculous because they are all behind wire fences anyway! Through the rest of the park they don't really care though.

I let my 16 year old drive (she's had her learner's permit about a month now) so I could concentrate on the picture taking. I took lots I liked and really had a hard time picking a blip for today.

I know I still have a gap or two - I've taken pictures every day, just haven't taken the time to process and upload and all that yet. I'll get caught up soon though. Just finishing up school work and spending time with my dad.

An interesting little factoid - the kids got to ride a camel at the safari. My dad was commenting on the number of photos I was taking to the camel dude. Camel dude says he can relate - his wife went to Italy for a week and took 600 photos! .... I took 752 in 5 hours at Lion Country Safari.

Guess it all depends on what you consider a lot, doesn't it?!!! :)
