Ciclogénesis

Ciclogénesis my new word for the week. They kept mentioning it on the weather forecasts. It rolls of the tongue and has a very elemental ring to it. A ciclogénesis explosivo is a 'weather bomb'. Although there was a bit of a swell here I think at most we were on the outer reaches of the cyclone, which was centred nearer to the English Channel. Still, the harbour wall took a bit of a pounding and had been cordoned off by the police, not that the anglers took much notice.
