Colansay Hill

First days diving on the Islay trip. After a couple of shallow reefs dives to get us and the kit sorted out. Nice dives but still very cold at only 8 degrees in the water. Only managed 30 minutes before I started to loose the feeling in my fingers.

Ended the day on Colonsay. Managed to get in the the port and off the boat in time to go to the Colonsay brewery shop and get a couple of bottles and a set of nice salad serving spoons with starfish on the handle before it shut.

Colonsay is the smallest island in the world with its own brewery, and a nice larger and pint of 80 shillings it does.

Walked up to the top of the local hill where we met the skipper and took some photos, before heading down to the local hotel for a couple of local beers before dinner.
