The Trespass Stone

This weekend there are lots of events in the Peak District and specifically on and around Kinder to mark the 80th anniversary of the Kinder Mass Trespass -

This morning on our Saturday run we paid our respects to the Trespass stone which marks the Mass Trespass on Winter Hill on the 6th September 1896 - thirty six years before Benny Rothwell led the walkers onto Kinder.
