Lentepoets

Today in Antwerp was Lentepoets - the big spring clean. Antwerp's city councils provide breakfast and flowering plants for participating streets.

Our street joined in too - here you can see two of my neighbours hard at work. Before they came out with the 'professional' equipment, the girls and I had removed most weeds and gave the pavement a good sweep.

So not only do we now have an all cleaned up street, we also have window sills full of flowering plants.
