The conquering of Conic Hill

Climbed Conic Hill in Balmaha today. The views over Loch Lomond and beyond are truly breathtaking.

Hubby and I were very proud of our boys, not to say a tad surprised, that they stomped all the way to the top with barely a whimper between them. Can't say the same for the way down when eldest fell and grazed his knee. A souvenir of a great day!

Youngest waited until he was safely down the hill and meandering in the pub garden to have his tumble. The healing properties of ice-cream seemed to do more for both of them than kisses and cuddles from mum. Can't say I blame them, it was chocolate ice-cream with butterscotch sauce for goodness sake!
