Front focus problem with Canon.

This is a test chart I use when I get a new lens to test for back or front focussing problems. I auto focus on the central text. If it is sharp then no problem, but this is blurry. Unfortunately my new Canon 50mm f1.4 lens front auto-focuses by about 10mm (at a distance of 2ft). This means I will generally have to manual focus with this lens to ensure sharpness. Of the nine lenses I have for my camera, four have front or back focussing problems. It seems to be the lenses with the widest apertures that suffer most. I have read that the lenses could well function normally on a different camera, it is a calibration problem. Anyone have similar problems?
