The impact of the rains

I have already blipped a few times about the heavy rains that are pestering Haiti. It has been going on for a month and a half and got even worse during the last week. I heard it is even reaching the Dutch media by now?!

This photo was taken in the middle of one of the massive rains. Normally these roads are packed, but many Haitian cars and moto's are not fit for driving against this water force. We are very lucky that our cars are strong enough to compete with these rains (yes papa: Toyota never breaks!). Allthough it is no fun being out there...
