Waiting On Her Brother

3rd day in for School Holidays...we took a visit to the toy store to take inventory and write a list for Santa Claus. A strict "No purchases allowed" rule had been set, which was strangely unattested. Then a quick hello to dogs, bunnies, fish, and birds in the pet store across the way. Then a play at Hagley Park, nachoes at the Dux de Lux, and our final destination, the Christchurch Art Gallery, was fun with a new colorful interior overlay.

We saw a few kite flyers outside the gallery that would have been a great blip had my batteries not failed. They were in the shape of birds and had the coolest spinning wheel to pull the string in and out. My son was very eager to get home to fly his own kite. I'm happy to be home and get our pizza dough ready for dinner...yumm.
