The End

It's the last breakfast for the Bloomberg/Tricycle Theatre Writers Group and us. For the last 8 years (5 with us at le Couvent) they've been coming to Roujan for a week's retreat, writing during the day and reading their work after dinner.

Apart from being ridiculously talented, you couldn't meet a nicer, brighter or more supportive bunch. We've made some very good friends and we hope we'll see them again in London and New York. Both Lizzie and I have a dream that one day soon we'll be sitting cheering our heads off in the stalls at The National thinking, that was written at our kitchen table.

So thankyou Roy, Amy, Dipo, Trevor, Jennifer, Sheila, Neil, Sheena, Lorna, Paven, Rex, Doreen, Lydia, Winsome, Hassan, Rachel, Dolly, Amit, Michael, Kwame and everyone else in the group. Thankyou too Teddy and Nicola, Nick Kent and Michael Bloomberg. It's been a privilege.
