WGW Something Different Weekend.

WGW stands for Whitby GOTH Weekend, because it started life as a festival weekend of Goth music.

Soon though the tolerance of the people of Whitby and the historic harbour, streets and buildings attracted all kinds of people who enjoy occasionally doing and being Something Different for a day or two or three.

You really and truly have to be there to understand.

It's a bit like Christmas. For a few short days everyone behaves differently towards everyone else. And that warmth can overcome even the arctic blast that yesterday had the RealFeel temperature at zero or below.

A couple of familiar faces in this set. And some total strangers. And a crowded street, and a crowded shop.

And we finally managed to get a table in the Pie and Mash Cafe after three years of trying !!!!
