The First Columbine Bloom!

So many lovely things are happening around my spring yard that it's hard to decide what to show you!

Here is a picture of the very first columbine to bloom. It opened just two or three days ago.

Columbine (Aquilegia) is among my most favorite of all the spring flowers.

Look at this fancy gal: she's pretty in pink, a lovely little belle of the ball, in her big, fancy hoop skirts and her pale yellow dancing shoes.

And look at all of her sisters around her, puckered up and just waiting to be kissed!
