So proud I could burst !

My son ran a half marathon today - his first time running - in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. GOSH has a special place in our lives - my sister who was born with Hydracephalus spent most of her formative years in and out of there - amazing people and without their expertise care and guidance would not have survived.

The weather could not have been more awful, heavy rain and very windy but people still turned out to cheer them on.

He didn't train - he figured playing football 5 times a week was enough, he doesn't think that now post the race lol. His time was 1.56.26 - his target was 2 hours so he is very pleased with himself - as I am of him.
