Dun Deidi

It was very windy today, an icy north wind. We went down to Long Strand expecting some good waves to photograph but the sea was surprisingly calm. It was very very cold so we abandoned our walk and drove around to Galley Head where the lighthouse is.
This is (according to Wikipedia) the remains of the ancient Norman stronghold of Dun Deidi, fortress of the O'Cowhig clan.
The lighthouse is just out of shot to the left.
