OK, so the idea was that I would be on the left hand side of the frame with goggles on my head looking at my youngest who was on the right hand side of the frame with goggles on her head looking at me. But she was more interested in getting wrapped in a warm, fluffy towel straight after swimming and devouring a packet of Mini-Cheddars rather than faffing about with her dad and his camera. Best laid plans and all that...

I've had a tune in my head, there's always a tune isn't there. And it's linked to one of those I Was There gig stories involving a well-known Dorset pop star and a secret hometown gig in the Gardens Nightclub, Yeovil in 1995. No prizes for guessing the identity. And the opening track was this one, you'll know it, it's the one that goes "Dow Dowwwwww Dow Dow Dowww, Dow Dowwwwww Dow Dow Dowww"
