A Horrible Day

Today has been horrible. This morning I had to take my awesome cat Bod to the vet to be put to sleep. He's been fit and healthy his whole life, right up until today, but all of a sudden overnight he developed a blood clot and lost the use of his back legs. The vet said it was most likely linked to heart disease and it was the fairest thing to do.

It was horrible, I absolutely hated it, but I'm thankful that he didn't seem to be in any pain and I was with him and able to say goodbye.

He's been my cat and a part of the family ever since I was a young kid, and I loved him to bits. Sleep well my friend, you'll be sorely missed.
