Power Source

What a lovely day! After a morning of general chores I met up with Freespiral and her knowledgeable husband for a walk in a wonderfully wild place. The pic shows a pond which is manmade to provide a power source for ancient mine workings at the far west end of the Sheep's Head peninsula, which were subsequently abandoned. There's a small retaining wall holding the water in, then a near 100 ft drop to the rocks and sea below. Super impressive.
