Cake Face
This is Tess, being Tess, at last, after a bugger-of-a-week. I wanted to get a handful of shots of her eating this cake but it all went in one go, so this is it!
I've whacked the exposure up to hide the fact that her skin is mottled. (Somehow it seems okay to say it but not to show it!) She looks really cold (even though she says she isn't ) I guess that's another drawback of losing loads of weight.
She really is incredibly skinny, has a smaller appetite, and has been sitting or lying down for 8 days. But this evening she bounced into the kitchen and did a forward roll and then decided to try leap-frogging over a stool.
She's talking non-stop again and is really looking forward to going back to school.
This week has reminded me what's important.
But - to be honest - I didn't really want reminding this week!
I can now go off and do things, my brain is working better and as a reward I've spent nearly the whole day hurriedly emailing lots of people.
In between emailing, I've been trying to get the book site: Lulu to respond and finally it is.
I was keen to share the cover of the book I published yesterday.
Here it is: Kissing Frankenstein & Other Stories
