the foam bathtime letters are a hit. obviously being only 2 1/2 she can't spell anything yet, but she's becoming increasingly aware of and interested in letterforms and words. her yell of "LOOK I'VE MADE LETTERS ALL BY MYSELF" came with the biggest grin of glee this side of christmas.

a 'not bad' day. we're getting there.
