Lighthouse
Tarbet Lighthouse was built by Robert Stevenson in 1830 the lighthouse tower is the third tallest in Scotland. The navigation light from 1907 was an incandescent pressurised lamp with 55mm mantels which I was lucky enough to light when I was a wee girl and is a memory that has stayed with me ever since.
