Whirlpool

We all went for a walk today and ended up down by the river, which is beautiful at this time of year with yellow primroses and bluebells all over the place. The water here is very slow moving, I suppose it is an ox-bow lake (my geography teacher would be proud of me!) Today the water was moving around in a giant, slow whirlpool. There were lots of bright green leaves and some quite large sticks all slowly turning around and around, it was mesmerizing to watch.
