Birthday cake the sequel!

Today my brother Sean (super stig/hippy....see earlier blips) turned 16! Woke up at 10.30 to a loud knock to remind me and my sister it's time for Sean to open his presents! So he opened the cards and presents etc.
Then before church starting making his birthday cake....had it baked just before we had to leave!
Then after church we went to Nando's ( Daisy, Sean's girlfriend, also joined us. It was her first meal with our family)
Tried the peri-peri chips! They are awesome!
Once home finished the chocolate cake by making butter icing;then sprinkled some small fudge pieces all over; also melted some marsbars and smothered it on and quickly sandwiched the two halves together. For the top I then melted more marsbars with minstrels and splash of milk....had to wait til it cooled a bit to thicken, then just poured in top. Added more minstrels and fudge pieces; then using a stensil, Sean made, sprinkled icing sugar over to finish!
TADAH! One very rich chocolate cake! I was so full couldn't try any but the others said it was very nice! Had nice cuppa...though really want some milk!
