Expression of Celebration

There is something so wild a free with the way the tentacles of Grevillia grow.

If looked at front on this flower looks like a Mandala and ordered.....however this perspective with the wild looking dance of the tentacles gives me the sense of celebration of.......well just celebration.

I am still a bit caught out by how early it gets dark...especially lately as its been pretty miserable and dull. I went to take pictures of the sunset and in between getting out of the car and plonking the pizza on the table grabbing my camera...it had gone.

I don't like using flash........ I'm really happy that my little camera has a large ISO range so I could take a lovely portrait of this beauty.
