His sister came to visit for the day from her 10 day holiday to Gocek, so we bobbed on the water taxi over to Turunc for lunch, which not only rhymes but also works rather well as a lunchtime/afternoon retreat as the place is a lot nicer than the others we've been to so far.

After quite possibly the best octopus I've ever tasted in my life I spent about 2 hours in a fishsnorkellingvortex, bum and back-of-head sticking out the ripples whilst watching all the flutters and weaving going on under me. There were families of fish having little daily squabbles down there I'm sure of it, and I was captivated. I only got out when my fingers got too wrinkly and my body had started to osmosise too much salt.
