Queen's Day

... in Amsterdam. Queens Day or Koninginnedag is a national holiday when the birthday of the queen is celebrated. The streets turn orange, the national colour (as the royal family is the house of Orange), with music and large flea markets everywhere. The weather was excellent, for the past weeks it was cold and often rainy while today was very sunny and warm.
