Together

Today Wife and I had a day off together. It is something we always say we will get round to doing but then never do it as often as we should.

So today we both took the day off and after dropping the little ones of to nursery we went for a wander into Southsea. We visited a couple of shops and then headed to a spa for an hour or so.

It was lovely to relax in the sauna, steam room and pool for a bit, though we are still confused with the salt grotto. Apparently a salt grotto creates an atmosphere like being near the sea which helps get rid of negative ions. This is all well and good but when it is in a place that is yards from the sea seems a little daft.

Once relaxed we headed out for a slow lunch that was made slower by some terrible service but was still nice enough as we were in no great rush. Then it was time to get back to normality and get the little ones but whilst being calmer.

It was a lovely day with Wife which again showed us that we should make time for us more often. When there is so much going on around you sometimes its easy to forget how much fun you can have with just your other half even when you don't really do much. A lovely day together, thats all!
