They say that travel broadens the mind. Well, it certainly broadens culinary taste. No. 1 son, temporarily back in the UK has brought new ideas into the kitchen from Japan, via California. It is apparently a custom in Japan to photograph each meal before it is eaten. Very popular on Twitter, I'm told!
