It is really difficult coping with the hose pipe ban. Yes I know it's the wrong kind of rain, needs to be winter rain to reach the water table. Summer rain just runs over the surface and evaporates. I just like the irony of a hose pipe ban being declared and then we get two weeks of solid rain!
