Hard to say I'm sorry

I'll forgive Miss A's petulant behaviour yesterday and put it down to self expression and finding her own way in the world. She also picked these flowers from the garden - I'll pretend they were a peace offering for me.

It's been a better day today. The morning was spent with H and Ab at playgroup then we went for a pub lunch. Perhaps not a relaxing experience for the fellow diners/drinkers but we had fun. The kids were making a den out of numerous pillows stacked on the window seat. They also smeared half their lunch on the windows so I might leave it a little while before venturing back, they may have forgotten our faces by then.

Peace has been restored in our household. For now.
