Farmhouse Tea
The Alapaca Walk today was a great success despite the heavy mist that surrounded the area all day. Views were out of the question, but the walkers were treated to a fascinating talk about alpacas and returned to St Oswald's Tea Room to this groaning table.
A, seen at the far end, will kill me when she sees this picture...........no, she's a great sport.
I had a day off walking and just joined them for tea. Then this evening there was a talk by Mark Richards about Hadrian's Wall. This was well attended and was held in the newly refurbished Haltwhistle Library.
Back into walking mode tomorrow for 14 miles from Tindale Village.
