tedious day, too much work and not enough computer working properly to get it done, grr. it's all yesterday's chip wrappers anyway, just keep ploughing thru.

also, there's a work decision looming that is not mine to make but is worrying me all the same. one way means i get my friend back, the other means we pretty much kiss goodbye to our friendship. i can see why it's attractive in one respect, but it's totally not the right thing in another. fingers crossed...
