A day in the life

MAN FLU

I've had the sniffles for a few days, and it's getting a bit worse, so what do you do?
I phoned the Doc, no open surgery anymore, she asks
" is it an emergency?"
You can hardly call a cold an emergency, though I am struggling to breathe abit I can't really face another sleepless night either though
Phone back tomorrow at 8am for emergency appointments or...we can get the doc to phone you
For some reason I didn't really expect to get the call.
The call duly arrived I explains whassup and doc says she'll prescribe antibiotics - pick up prescription at reception. Brilliant!
BIG UP THE NHS!
Nobody wants to go to the doctor. Nobody wants to sit about in the waiting room, with all the sniffling and farting that goes with it.
Dish out the lot over the telephone! What a brilliantly simple idea. I'm impressed. Must be cheap too. .and prescription was only a fiver, a true bargain. Why did noone think of this earlier.

BACK BLIPS

I've stuck a few back blips up from my recent trip to London 26-29th.
Now a lot of people would just go and take photos of the obvious tourist attractions, London Eye, Big Ben, Hyde Park etc, not me, I've tried something a bit different..
