Mercutio again

Another guitar blip, it's too cold to go outside again. Getting up at 6 to meet the pale and icy face of winter is not ideal.
I am listening to the album Past Life Martyred Saints for the second time today, it's truly brilliant. It's the first and only album of EMA, a raw and musically confident solo girl reminiscent of PJ Harvey, early Sonic Youth and Yeah yeah yeahs. Her sound is nostalgic, grimy and arty, and wholly original I feel. If you're into alt music you should check her out.Marked, The Grey Ship and Anteroom are really good, though most critics reckon California is her masterpiece.
Just a bit of word-spreading for an awesome underground artist there :)
