Heron

Took a walk along the Forth and Clyde canal at the Falkirk Wheel today and finally saw some new ducklings . Have a horrible feeling they were trying to avoid the heron! The ducklings were too quick for me but the heron stood quite arrogantly at the side of the canal watching and waiting. Eventually he flew off and hopefully the ducklings found a nice hiding place.
