Sunset Blossom

Back to grey,wet, windy and cold today! Though things needed a bit of a brightening up. The above is the apple "Sunset" this little tree has kept its blossom better than any ornamental cherry in the area, and we will get to eat the fruits! In fact if it sets all this flower into fruit I will have to thin it fairly hard. We exhausted the apple store in early April of whole apples, and only have the stewed and frozen left to add to breakfast or for pies and crumbles.
Bird station up date, traffic increasing slowly. Seems the seed mix I purchased has too higher wheat content as the floor is covered with grains picked out and dropped. Note to self look closer when buying next batch.
Lets hope for the return of the better weather, in the mean time take care one and all ;¬)
