It's further by bike...

159 miles to Glasgow on the cyclepath from Dumfries, it's only about 75 by car! There are lots of these signposts all over Scotland, about 1000 according to the text on the post and they are all sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland. So not all bad those bankers!

Wee walk after tea tonight as I didn't get a blip through the day. Can't quite believe it's 1 May... rest of the week is busy work wise but got all day in the office again tomorrow to get on with some project work.

Big news from this week is that my friend A's eldest daughter got engaged at the weekend, they are a lovely couple and we wish them all the best. A's very excited and so am I... congratulations J & P xx
