No longer will this door welcome me. No longer will entry through it provide access to a cornucopia of delicacies. No longer will there be a greeting from within, redolent with Yorkshire charm. No longer will a sudden lack of milk, bread, frozen pizza or jam be easily rectified.

No longer do we have a corner shop.
