A very funny misunderstanding occurred this morning when Fiona called to confirm my details to register 'The Monday Club' for this years Race For Life Event. Lucie answered the call, had a short exchange and then handed over to me. Afterwards she expressed surprise that F was "on wine already" and it wasn't even lunchtime. I was able to assure her that she had misheard and that F had said she was on line!

I signed a petition at a shop in the Perth road. Sainsbury's has applied for planning permission to open a new store on the site of Mr Sponge in the Hawkhill. This would only serve to 'soak-up' custom from the local shops and force them to close. Fingers crossed, this permission will not be granted.

It's been a beautiful clear sunny day. I barbecued our lunch and we ate outside. I almost blipped THIS. Happy Summer!
