The Spaniard

If you have ever driven up or down the A3 , you will have seen this place. Northwards it's a mile or so before Hindhead to your right. It has slowly, slowly been falling down for at least 25 years, I would say. When I was young, back at the end of the nineteenth century, it used to be a night club and was called The Spaniard. It has scaffolding round it, which someone must be paying for. It is sad to see somewhere so unloved.
