May Day!

To each his own... no Maypole dancing or protest marches for these two, although some strange fruit was seen nearby, for which they might have been responsible.

An east wind, intermittent rain, and the cold air temperature at Lake Padden Park this morning made our photo shoot and slow stroll with Miss Annie briefer and not as much fun as usual. May Day/Beltane, ushering in summer, should be celebrated with energy and warmth, but since I can't change today's weather, I'll change this image to this one, to celebrate the eagerly anticipated brighter weather to come!
