Moving-in

It was an extremely long day. I only put my head on the pillow at 11pm. We were supposed to move yesterday but were let down at the last minute. This house was our back-up as negotiations were not easy on our first choice. The owner being overseas did not help. After agreeing to our offer verbally, the owner then faxed through the paperwork with changes he had made to the contract. We were then forced to phone the owner of our 2nd choice house at 5:30pm and arrange to move in tomorrow.

With much dissapointment we didnt sleep well last night!

Our second choice owner was very accomodating and luckily, as it was a public holiday today, she was able to phone some friends to help her move out. So, she was moving out the front door while we were busy moving in through the garage. Not the best situation but at least it worked out in the end!

If you are very observant you may have spotted this door before. We did a lot of house viewing in the holidays and are very happy with the 2nd choice house. It is actually a beautiful house and will be great to live in. It came in, in 2nd place because it is down a pan-handle road and does not have a swimming pool.
