What Katy Did?

This katydid. ;-)

At least, as best I can figure this is a katydid: a spine-headed katydid, to be precise. It was sitting on our window this morning, and I popped outside and took a few shots. This was the best of them - despite me cutting off part of its maHOOsive antenna (not antennae; one of them, as you can see, is decidedly un-mahoosive). The sharpness, colours, light, and overall look of this was better than the shots that included the whole antenna. (As you can see from the reflection, I didn't cut off that much, either.)
