Ruby Roo!

Roo was taken into work today to meet a lady named Ruby.

Ruby has been on the ward for a few weeks now after suffering a stroke. Just this week she has been allowed to eat her first meals although only purée it's a start.

Very hard of hearing wearing 2 hearing aids and unable to speak you can see the pure delight in her face as she has a little cuddle.

We get by mainly by sign language so I asked her had she ever had a dog or cat no she told me, I stayed an hour with her as she just wouldn't let him go!!

As I got up to leave she grabbed hold of my arm and gave me the biggest kiss, thank you she mouthed.

She's 92 years old what a lady...
