Tanker
A much better day weather wise today, lots of sunshine. There is a definate nip to the air though and I'm going to have to think about protecting the plants from the frosts that will come.
Its been a very productive day, I've got all the filing done at home which has needed doing for a while, thankfully it's all done now.
Today I finally got to see mum, it was a lovely visit. She looks much better than I expected her to look. She's still very agitated and worrying about everything, thankfully the pain is being managed well. I bought some tops and a cardy as everything she has now is far too big, she tried them on and they look lovely on her. I also took a meal down for them for tomorrow so dad can have a break.
On the way home I stopped off at Eastham Ferry, one of my childhood haunts. It was high tide and this tanker was being piloted into the docks by one of the tugs. Elizabeth Docks are at the entrance to the Manchester Ship Canal. This shot is part of this weeks homework to do with, framing and using rule of thirds, not really sure if it fits the bill. Anyway its a first attempt, I've still got another 5 days before it's due in
Other news Paul is off to Jordan on Monday for three weeks, the army certainly don't keep him in one place for long.
Weekend is here, hope you all have a good one
