Nearly Ready!

Davie mows the ninth green at 6.45am in readiness for the practice round for the Ladies Scottish Open Golf, at Archerfield, East Lothian.

The course is looking fantastic, despite the cold weather and slow growing conditions. This is due entirely to Davie and the other greenkeepers working from six in the morning until eight at night for the last couple of weeks, mowing, sweeping, blowing, dressing, ironing, and mowing and mowing.

Tomorrow the greenkeepers start work at 5am(!) because the first tee-off is at 7.30.

So glad I'm not a greenie.
