Sweet Lilac

Mr H cut back the lilac over the winter, even so, it has now grown to a monstrous size. The lilac was fragrant and dusk was falling as I went for a blip prowl in the garden.

This lovely blossom was at eye level, so, I didn't have to bend over and display my 'blipper's bottom'. What a relief!

In other news, there were five goldfinches, a 'sparra' and a big portly woodpigeon pocking about it the garden this evening. Five goldfinches, I was ecstatic.
