Pipe and Slippers

Its been a lovely day with lots of sunshine. I had a trip to the Leyland sewage works this morning and managed to combine a quick visit to Martin Mere to see the Otters and many water birds they have there. It was a fab little side trip and good to get out and walk in the sun and the place was full of retired people and school trips.
I called at the farm shop on the way back for some nice lancashire cheese and a bottle of dandilion and burdock.
Then this afternoon I was in Manchester city centre and discovered that a Morroccan caravan had set up in St Annes square selling all sorts. These slippers reminded me I need some to go with my anchorman pipe.
Time to relax by the fire with cheese and port and listen to radio four.
